Expressing Experience through Art
Creative arts have often provided a space where women could flourish. The archives contain numerous stories of women pursuing creative work. These records reveal the opportunities and challenges of being an artist and tell the stories behind artistic works. Papers of women artists document personal and professional networks, feminist and woman-centered collaborations, or experiences in what were frequently male-dominated professions.
