Photographic scan of interior of Songs of Innocence, William Blake, 1794. Page is cream paper with type in brown ink and relief etching illustrations in brown ink and watercolor. The top half of the page features a large illustration with an adult woman and young boy in a dark forest scene, both wearing loose nightgowns and walking barefoot. The bottom half of the page features a poem called “The Little Boy found,” with the poem title in a larger calligraphic type and the body of the poem in a smaller hand-cut serif type. The body of the poem is surrounded in illustrations of vines and leaves, as well as a small blue angel holding their arms aloft just to the right of the poem.
