Introduction to the Physical Exhibit
Something about Cuba is an exhibit of books and other library material at the University of Minnesota Libraries highlighting its collections on Cuban history, literature, and music from 1512 to the present. It was on display Fall semester 2015 in two exhibit cases in the basement level of Wilson Library, University of Minnesota. The exhibit case in the Periodicals Collection area, "Case I. From Conqueror to Castro (1512-1959)," displays material on Cuba before the 1959 Revolution, and the exhibit case in the Government Publications Library, "Case II. Revolutionary Cuba (Cuba after 1959)," displays material on Cuba after the establishment of the Cuban Revolutionary Government.
