Alice Csodaorszagban illustrated by Szegedi Katalin Rajzaival cover, a girl in a wide brimmed hat is in the foreground, a cat and a miniature house are balanced on the hat

Description

Photographic scan of Alice Csodaországban, Lewis Carroll, translated by Kosztolanyi Dezso, illustrated by Szegedi Katalin Rajzaival, Budapest: General Press Kiado, 2007. Cover text is printed in multiple decorative fonts, but the title is printed in dark red serif type, all capitals. The cover’s illustration features a girl in the foreground looking at the viewer and wearing a wide-brimmed hat and striped dress. A smaller version of the girl, as well as a cat and a miniature house, are balanced atop the hat. Other figures are included on the cover, including the Queen of Hearts, the March Hare, and a card soldier. The illustration background is a collage of green ferns and cursive writing, with the book title printed at the top of a faded gray centered panel.
