Typed request for use of building by the Office of the Dean of Students, Student Activities Bureau on behalf of The Minnesota Daily. The document includes the following request:
"The Minnesota Daily requests permission to use 15 classroom buildings on the Main Campus and 6 classroom buildings no the St. Paul Campus for the distribution of the Minnesota Daily for the academic year 1951/52. The proposed distribution plan, may be established on an experimental basis. Continuation of the plan beyond one year will depend upon an intensive evaluation of the impact of the change in distribution systems upon the effective functioning of other University enterprises as well as its effect upon student readership, and the reaction of students toward the distribution scheme after a year's experience with it."
The document continues in identifying the locations at which the distribution boxes would be placed, the installation of the boxes, the distribution conditions and the contractual relationships.
