Image of the Behind the Scenes Extra, a single-page broadside newspaper issue created by the student political group PYNX to raise awareness and announce criticism over the handling of the All-University elections in 1932 in which ballot boxes were stolen from the polls. The paper calls into question the Daily's coverage of the event and accuses the Daily of prejudice in favor of certain groups with affiliation to the All-University council and Board in Control of Student Publications. The text "Extra Behind the Scenes Extra" is printed in large block print at the top of the page. The second "Extra" is partially obscured by a circular stamp with text that reads "University of Minnesota Library received Apr 22 '32," in the upper right corner of the page. The headline, "Resign in Protest," is printed directly below the title spanning the width of the page. The volume, location, and cost of the paper is written in text underneath a line, "Volume No. 1 University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minn. Free." Multiple articles are printed on the page laid out into three (3) columns. The article titles are as follows: "Independent Students Demand Council Reforms," "An Open Letter," "Minnesota Daily Refuses to Print Facts: Nyline and Bailey Charge Unfairness," "Is The Daily Justified?," "Leading Athletes Will Parade in Protest!," "Forecast," "Bystander, Jr." The text, "NOW Will the Administration Act?" is written in large block letters at the bottom beneath the articles spanning the width of the page.
