Description
Image of the cover of the May 23, 1960 issue of Ivory Tower. The sepia-toned cover features an illustration drawn by Dick Goindon of the entry to campus featuring a row of graduates walking towards the entrance. Outside of the entrance features five drawn individuals walking in demonstration. Two individuals are holding a banner that has the word "Join" with the word, "Now" crossed out. Two other individuals are holding musical instruments and the last individual is holding a staff. One separate individual is faced towards the row of graduates, while looking back on the demonstrators. The words "Get Ready... Get Set..." is written to the right of the demonstrators. At the top left hand corner of the cover is the title of the publication, "Minnesota Daily, Ivory Tower Edition" with the date, "May 23, 1960" below it.
