Dear Mrs. Houlton,
About six months ago I sent you a copy of the transcript of the oral history you did for us with Judith Ingber. I am wondering whether you have had a chance to look it over and approve it so that we might catalog it. Because of severe funding problems, it looks as if the Oral History Project might not continue past the end of this month (after almost twenty years). For this reason, I would very much like to be able to catalog your interview and add it to our Oral History Archive as soon as possible.
At your earliest convenience, would you be kind enough to let me know if there are any major corrections that should be made to the transcript and if you feel a need to place any restrictions on the material? I sent you three copies of our Donor Statement last January. If you can’t locate them to sign and return them to us, I would be happy to send you more.
Please write me at the address above or call me at 212/870-1752 to let me know if we might go ahead and process the material. It will be an important addition to the Collection and I do hope we can attend to it quickly. I appreciate your attention to this and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
(Signature)
