Alison Bechdel is a 2014 MacArthur Fellow, author, artist and creator of the comic strip, “Dykes to Watch Out For,” which ran from 1983 until 2008.
Judith Katz is an author, actor, playwright, and educator. Bechdel’s drawing shows her hard at work on a book. Katz’s “inspired glint” invites speculation about what she is writing.
