Random Magazine was the successor of the Ivory Tower, as a monthly supplement publication of The Minnesota Daily. Running from October 1969 to May 1970, Random Magazine only lasted for one academic year due to printing costs and inflation. There were eight issues published in total.

International Forum was first published in the August 12th, 1969, issue of the Daily as an insert. It was described as a special publication that was financed by the Board in Control of Student Publications and through the Daily’s incidental fees and focused its content around the international community within the University. International Forum was published monthly and its last issue was distributed on May 27th, 1970.
